"Thousands of dollars worth of damages"
The store itself is great, I've shopped with them and spent quite a bit of money over the past 4 years but the company part that handles installing safely safety pool covers is not! They drilled into a pipe which drained my 30,000 gallon pool empty which in turned also damaged the liner we just had replaced 4 years ago and all they could say was you signed a waiver. Do not use them for a safety cover unless you want to get left with thousand of dollars worth of damages!

I’ve picked up pool chemicals from Leslie’s a few times now, and my take is that they’re generally okay. Most of what I’ve bought has worked well enough and got the job done, but a couple of things didn’t feel quite as strong as I expected. I had to use more shock than I normally would to get the water clear, which made me question the value a bit. It’s not bad by any means, just feels average for the price. I’d still go back if I needed something quickly, but it probably wouldn’t be my first choice if I had time to shop around.

Stopped by and they had most of what I needed in stock, which was a relief. It feels like the right way to run a store, don’t make people waste a trip if you can help it.

The tech did a solid job and got everything fixed, so no complaints there. The frustrating part was the appointment getting moved twice with hardly any notice. I’ve used a couple competitors before, and while they weren’t always perfect either, they were usually better about keeping me updated on scheduling changes. Overall, the repair itself was fine, but the communication definitely could’ve been smoother

I found pretty much everything I was looking for for my pool, and there were plenty of options to choose from. It was easy enough to shop around and compare, which I appreciated. To be fair, I didn’t need anything too unusual, but for the basics it worked out well.

I stopped in for a quick pool water test and ended up waiting longer than I expected, which was already frustrating. When I finally got helped, the guy was friendly enough, but I felt like he kept pushing me to buy extra products I didn’t ask for. I really just wanted the test and some basic advice, not a sales pitch. Not sure I’ll be going back.

"Decent Loyalty Program, But Could Be Smoother"
I shop at Leslie’s often, and overall the loyalty program is okay. My points usually show up like they’re supposed to, which is nice, but it does feel like it takes a while to actually earn rewards that make a difference. I appreciate getting a discount here and there, but I really wish the app or account page made it easier to see what I have and actually use it without digging around. I like the store and will keep going back, but it would feel a lot more rewarding if the loyalty program was a little more clear and helpful.

I stopped in to pick up a few pool supplies, the store just felt really unorganized. The aisles were cluttered, things seemed to be in random places, and I ended up having to ask for help just to find what I needed. The floors also looked like they could use a good cleaning. I get that stores can get busy, but when everything feels messy, it makes a quick errand feel a lot more frustrating than it should.

My order went through without any issues and the pool supplies showed up in good shape, so no complaints there. The only thing that bothered me was the payment side of it. The charges weren’t super clear, and I ended up having to check my card statement just to figure out what was what. Maybe it wasn’t intentional, but it kind of felt like they don’t go out of their way to make the billing obvious. Not a terrible experience overall, I just wish they were more upfront about the payment details.

I swear my pool went from looking a little sad to totally refreshed in no time. The tech showed up, got right to work, and somehow made it all look effortless. By the time they were done, the pool looked clean and ready like it had just survived a dramatic makeover scene.

"Convenient Stop After Work"
I like that my local Leslie’s is close by and the hours actually work for my schedule, which is a rare miracle in the world of errands. I can usually swing by after work or on the weekend without feeling like I’m sprinting against the clock. Parking is easy too, so I can grab pool stuff quickly and get on with my life. It’s not perfect every single time, because of course nothing is, but overall it’s a really convenient stop.
